아래와 같은 에러 메세지는 dovecot/conf.d logging.conf에서 에러 메세지를 품어 내도록 설정 해 줘야 한다.
이 에러 메세지를 근거로 해결 할 수 있으니 요긴하게 써 먹을 수 있다.
squirrelmail을 가동해서 나오는 에러 메세지를 근거로 구글 검색 하였으나 존나게 허 고생만 하였다.
아래 메세지는 dovecot_error.log 를 확인하여 에러를 잡을 수 있었다.
/.imap/INBOX, group=12(mail)) failed: Operation not permitted
Operation Not Permitted
imap(user): Error: chown(/home/user/mail/.imap/INBOX, group=12(mail)) failed: Operation not permitted (egid=1000(user), group based on /var/mail/user - see http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Errors/ChgrpNoPerm)This means that Dovecot tried to copy /var/mail/user file's group (mail) to the index file directory it was creating (/home/user/mail/.imap/INBOX), but the process didn't belong to the mail group, so it failed. This is important for preserving access permissions with shared mailboxes. Group copying is done only when it actually changes the access permissions; for example with 0600 or 0666 mode the group doesn't matter at all, but with 0660 or 0640 it does.
To solve this problem you can do only one of two things:

If the group doesn't actually matter, change the permissions so that the group isn't copied (e.g. chmod 0600 /var/mail/*, see MailLocation/mbox)

Give the mail process access to the group (e.g. mail_access_groups=mail setting).
그렇다 바로 이놈을 수정 해 주니 정상적으로 짜잔 하고 가동 되었다.
이 파일은 10-mail.conf 파일에 있으니 참고 하길...
